Kankeshwar Temple Base

Kankeshwar Temple, sacred to Lord Shiva, stands high on a hilltop in the village of Mapgaon around 12 km from our resort. The unique architecture of the temple was built in 1674 and is the finest example of Hoysala style of architecture.
